Art Research
Graduated from the Beaux-Arts of Quimper, I learned how to conceive and organize exhibitions. Although I later shifted toward graphic design, I never stopped creating. My work as a graphic designer now allows me to maintain an active artistic practice, through exhibitions that I aim to further develop and expand.
Today, my research focuses on the fragility of life in hostile environments, whether in natural ecosystems — such as those inhabited by birds — or within space research projects exploring future lunar stations.
EMBROIDERY ON TRANSPARENT FABRIC — JUNE 2024, L’OISEAU BLEU EXHIBITION, THOUARS.
In this work, I address the loss of habitat affecting multiple bird species, an issue I have observed both in Brittany, my region of origin, and in Japan, where I currently live. The destruction of forests for industrial projects threatens the survival of many small birds. By embroidering bird skeletons onto leaves and transparent fabrics, I seek to express the fragility of these species.

Overview of the exhibition "L'oiseau bleu" Thouars
Overview of the exhibition presented in Thouars, featuring a body of work focused on the fragility of living systems and the gradual disappearance of natural habitats. The project particularly addresses the loss of territory affecting certain bird species, through works combining drawing, embroidery, and delicate materials.Embroideries on leaves and transparent fabrics create a tension between the beauty of the gesture and the silent violence of environmental transformation, presenting birds as fragile, almost ghost-like presences.

An interview further explores the origins of the project, the symbolism of birds embroidered on leaves, and the ecological concerns that shape this artistic research. (https://soundcloud.com/radio-val-dor/loiseau-bleu-lexposition-collective-de-quatre-artistes-et-amies-au-mz-a-thouars)
EXHIBITION LE JARDIN LUNAIRE, PLEAUX — SUMMER 2025.
The idea returns again and again: life on Earth could easily never have existed. Everything about our presence is improbable — a planet lost in space, surrounded by silence and darkness. And yet, life found a way. It began with invisible filaments, mosses, lichens, creeping mycelium, capable of transforming rock into soil.I see humanity as a continuation of these first forms of life. A part of us still belongs to forest moss, to lichen clinging to stone, to mycelium seeking connection. Our instinct to survive, our desire to understand, and our insatiable curiosity may be contemporary expressions of the same vital force that has always sought to move forward, to expand, and to create.

Ecosystem in Tension — Colored Pencil Drawing, June 2025
Colored pencil drawing.
In this work, I explore the fragile boundary between zones of nothingness and those where life begins to emerge. Lunar landscapes are approached as territories without breath, without water, without color — and yet this emptiness becomes a fertile ground for projection.

HYBRID PENCIL AND MARKER — DRAWING, MAY 2025
In this project, I envision mycelium as a vital, foundational force for the Moon. More than just a lightweight material for our future shelters, these filaments represent a silent intelligence capable of merging with gray lunar dust to pave the way for life.My drawing illustrates this hybridization: a single root system from which multiple results emerge.
